Abstract: 

Analytic hierarchy Process (AHP)is a multi-criteria decision making method originally developed By Thomas L.Saaty. lt is a method to derive ratio scales from paired comparisons. The input can be obtained from actual measurement such as price, weight etc., or from subjective opinion such as satisfaction feelings and preference. AHP allows some small inconsistency in judgment because human perception is not always consistent. The ratio scales are derived from the principal Eigen vectors and the consistency index is derived from the principal Eigen value. This paper uses this method in determining the priorities for investments by the Municipality of Sardasht. Eight experts answered a questionnaire on eight different investment areas in the city: traffic, urban development, drainage, mitigation, urban environment, recreation and tourism, urban infrastructure, and income-generating activities. Using AHP to analyze the results, the respective priority of each investment area is calculated.

Abstract: 

Some company strategies in managing business that can be implemented are Supply Chain Management (SCM). SCM works to ensure the availability of the material obtained from the supplier. With the increasingly advanced information technology in line with the progress in hardware and software technologies, the computing methods are also growing. One of the most important computing methods in its development is the Decision Support System (DSS). Every company is required to move quickly in decision-making or action, similarly, in the selection of suppliers. With reference to the hierarchy Analytical Process (AHP) method, this research aims to make decisions in the selection of suppliers objectively based on the various criteria set. This is made so that the goods supply process can be run according to the needs of the company as one of the utilization and availability of Tugboat.

Abstract: 

To select an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is time consuming due to the resource constraints, the software complexity, and the different of alternatives. A comprehensively systematic selection policy for ERP system is very important to the success of ERP project. In this paper, we propose a fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) method to evaluate the alternatives of ERP system. The selection criteria of ERP system are numerous and fuzzy, so how to select an adequate ERP system is crucial in the early phase of an ERP project. The framework decomposes ERP system selection into three main factors. The goal of this paper is to select the best alternative that meets the requirements with respect to product factors, system factors and management factors. The sub-attributes (sub-factors) related to ERP selection have been classified into twelve main categories of Functionality, Reliability, Usability, Efficiency, Maintainability, Cost, Implementation time, User friendliness, Flexibility, Vendor Reputation, Consultancy Services, and R&D Capability and arranged in a hierarchy structure. These criteria and factors are weighted and prioritized and finally a framework is provided for ERP selection with the fuzzy AHP method. Also, a real case study from Iran is also presented to demonstrate efficiency of this method in practice.

Abstract: 

One of the basic stages in strategic planning is the prioritization of strategies. In this area, many researches have been made and a lot of methodologies have been presented. Although these methods try to improve the analysis situation, they lose some useful information during the decision making process.In this article, the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method is used for determining the importance of each strategy and sorting them. This approach is useful for saving some information which obtained from real situation. Also by using this flexible approach, decision makers are able to focus simultaneously just on two options, instead of many options. This approach is used for analyzing the traning center. For description about this approach, a numerical example is also presented.

Abstract: 

This study was done with aim of relative Hazard zonation of slope instability and landslides occurrence in the Kesmat basin with an area of 27 km2, 50 km southeast of Khoramabad city. In order to check the stability of slopes in this basin, in the first step landslide prone areas were identified using the aerial photography and field surveys and then distribution map of landslide is provided. By merging the effective factors included slope, aspect, altitude, geology, earthquake, rainfall, landuse and distance from the fault and drainages on landslide with the landslide distribution map, impact of each of these factors assessed in ArcGIS software and using the AHP model. Then these factors were prioritized using AHP model. According the results of use the AHP in landslide risk zonation, 0.05, 12.64, 28.56, 31.35 and 27.4 percent of the area are located in very low, low, medium, high and very high risk classes respectively.

Abstract: 

In Iran, the vast floods are occurring frequently those are due to huge area, climate changes, land use change and temporal and spatial variations of precipitation. The current research mainly aims to assess Analytical hierarchy Process (AHP) method to provide flood susceptibility map. In this study, different factors, e. g. elevation classes, the percentage of slope, land curvature, distance from the river, geology, land use types, curve number and soil hydrological groups are used in the Razavar watershed in Kermanshah province. The raster maps of these layers were provided by using ArcGIS10. 1 and SAGA GIS2. The flooding probability of each class for different factors as well as the importance of each factor in comparison with other factors was evaluated according to the expert opinions, and then the related weights were calculated in the expert choice software. Furthermore, the obtained weights of each class/factor were applied to every layer using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to provide flood susceptibility map. The results showed that the percentage of the slope had the highest effects on the flood, and also distance from the river and the elevation classes are in the next priorities. The lowest factor in the flood is related to curve number. Moreover, the results indicated that about 48. 5% and 30. 9% of the study area were recognized with high sensitivity and low/very low sensitivity, respectively.

Abstract: 

Petrochemical Industries are potentially capable of impacts on environment due to the essence of the activities and producing waste water, pollutant emissions and hazardous wastes. This case study has considered the environmental adverse impacts of petrochemical industries on existing habitats in Mahshahr Economic Special Zone with respect to the regional significant biological diversity and ecological valuable species. When results from regional estuary sampling as well as impacts by petrochemical industries pollutants has been analyzed and studied. Then affected ecosystems have been prioritized using Analytic hierarchy Process (AHP) method, Expert Choice software and Eigenvector technique. Studies outcomes show that, with regard to petrochemical industries pollutants, especially waste waters including heavy metals, oil and grease, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), along with criteria defined in AHP method such as ecological and protecting value, estuaries are most affected ecosystems in the region. On the other hand, types of fishes and benthic, such as Decapods, Gastropods and Tanaida have been highly affected by the petrochemical industries activities consequents. It is concluded that, heavy metals, oil and grease, deposit into the environment, are the most important pollutant sources for the regional estuaries which should be controlled.

Abstract: 

Background: Reducing the irreparable damages of natural crises in Iran requires proper understanding of the causes and crisis reduction solutions. In this regard, identifying the severity of vulnerability in different aspects are the major determinants of the crisis including environmental, social, economic, cultural and psychological and preparedness level of the society. However, the present paper aims to assess the environmental vulnerability of Taleqan County.method: In this study, Delphi method and analysis hierarchical process (AHP) method were used. In the first stage, all experts and professionals (about 30) in this field were selected and studied by using purposeful sampling method in Taleqan County in Alborz province. In the AHP method, validity and reliability were investigated based on exploratory factor analysis. Since the KMO index was 0.879, the sample number was sufficient for analyzing. Also, the significance level of Bartlett test was less than 5% and the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was 0.856. The results were also analyzed by using Expert Choice software.Findings: The results show that the central, southern and western parts are located in high vulnerability zone and the northern and somewhat eastern parts are in the low vulnerability zone. Also, length of Taleqan County River and its slopes are in high-vulnerable zones.Conclusion: according to the results, identification and analysis of environmental vulnerability alone cannot entail the preservation and improvement of the quality of the environment, but should be specifically targeted to the development planners in order to carry out development projects in the area with a low level of vulnerability.

Abstract: 

Identification of factor affecting existing of landslide as well as its zonation in the given watershed is one of the basic tools for landslide control and selection of appropriate and effective solution as well. Thus, a research study with objective of recognizing factor affecting landslide and determination of lands with hypothential to its occurrence was conducted to prepare landslide zonation map for the chalkrood watershed analytical hierarchy method. In order to determine the most important factor affecting landsliding different maps including slope, aspect, altitude, faults, drainage network, access roads, lithology, land use and rainfall maps were prepared digitally using aerial photos with scale of 1:20000 and 1:40000 for the year of 1967 and 2001 respectively together with field checks using GPS.Then affecting factors were binary compared using analytical method by indicating the weight of each factor as indicator for their effects in occurrence of landslide. Accordingly, the landslide zonation hazard map was prepared to the use of weighed information layer and weighted coefficient of each factor. Results of this study show that the analytical hierarchy method is precise method for evaluation of landslide potential due to the use of binary comparison affecting factors and considering numerous factors for landslide evaluation at the same time in comparison to the other prevalent method and the results indicates that the percentage of high hazard class is 85 percent in AHP method.

Abstract: 

مقدمه و هدف: در این مقاله دو روش آموزشی تحت عناوین Case Study ,Case method به عنوان تکنیکهای آموزشی مورد بررسی و نقد قرار گرفته و تفاوتها و شباهتهای هر کدام به طور جداگانه بررسی شده است و نکات کاربردی هر روش در آموزش پرستاری مورد بحث قرار گرفته است.مرور مطالعات: در این مقاله ابتدا تعاریف دو نوع متد آموزشی ارایه گردیده و سپس موارد استفاده از هر متد به طور جداگانه بحث شده است، و با توجه به ماهیت آموزش پرستاری ایران پیشنهادات کاربردی در این زمینه ارایه شده است. Case method در گروههای آموزشی کوچکتر که مشاهدات ذهنی کمتری دارند و در ابتدای تجربه می باشند استفاده می شود. ولی Case Study در گروههای آموزشی بزرگتر که مشاهدات ذهنی بیشتری دارند و قدرت تجزیه و ترکیب و رشد بحث در آنها بیشتر می باشد استفاده می شود. از ویژگیهای مهم آنها می توان به افزایش قدرت تصمیم گیری افراد در موقعیتهای مختلف، لذتبخش تر کردن آموزش و علاقمند کردن به امر تدریس و ... نام برد.بحث و نتیجه گیری: با توجه به یافته های پژوهش و با توجه به محتوی برنامه های آموزشی پرستاری، محقق استفاده از روشهای Case Study ,Case method را برای دانشجویان پرستاری توصیه می نماید. زیرا بهترین آموزش یادگیرنده ها زمانی مطرح می باشد که دانش هماهنگ و متنوع مهارتهای آموزشی با تجربیات در کنار هم می باشد.
